The SOUTHLAND Cochrane crew rolled into the 56th Annual Cochrane Labour Day Parade on September 2, 2024!
The pre-parade entertainment started at 9:00 AM, followed by the main event at 10:00 AM – a variety of businesses and groups strutting their stuff with eye-catching floats rolling down 1st Street and Railway Street.
It was a great day to interact with parade onlookers and take part in a community event that we have been supporting for several years!
Special thanks to Susan Calvert for decorating the bus and Amy Porter for driving the parade route. We also had multiple drivers come out with their families to join the fun – Ed Buchan and his grandchildren, Jodanna Hartwick and her children, Carol Webb, Linda Langman, Bev Fourie and her daughter.
Thank you to everyone who made this event such a huge success! Click the video below to see a fun slideshow of SOUTHLAND at the parade!
